Christmas 2012 - in Pasco

We spent Christmas this year at Aubrey's house in Washington. We had a good time and were able to also be with Megan & Billy, and Garrett. It's always fun to spend time with the grandkids.

We were able to drive over for the weekend when Parker was sustained and set apart as the Bishop of his Ward. He is 28 years old. Their Stake presidency (on the left) and more importantly, the Lord have complete confidence in him. Although there will probably be a sharp learning curve, he will do well as he loves and serves the people the way he does.

September 2012

I went to the Pendleton Round Up for the first time this year. I have wanted to go for some time now and was able to purchase a few tickets. I invited Aubrey to come, as well as a good friend from Monument. We had a good time. I definitely learned some things from the experience.

I tried to take James with Kate & I. That didn't go over too well, but we tried. He was brave, just whimpered the whole way down and wasn't too happy with me afterward.
